This is done to ensure that we can both be completely prepared for your tattoo appointment.
What I should I do to get ready for my appointment?
Try to do these suggestions a week before our tattoo appointment – This information is to give you a better result for a healthy healing tattoo and will help with your pain management during your tattoo.- Drink at least 2 full bottles or 2-8 oz cups of water daily. This will make your skin become more hydrated and softer.
- Put lotion on your future tattoo area daily, don’t let it become dry and rough. – Moisturized skin aids tattoo ink in penetrating the skin and it also assists the healing process in the future.
- Purchase After Care products : antibacterial Dial Liquid Soap, Tattoo goo or any ointment that I gave to you and paper towels.

How do I care for my tattoo?
If you are using wrap, please go this link for aftercare instructions (link here)
If your preference was doing regular aftercare method or the wrap fell off please read and follow these instructions below .
Please be aware that your new tattoo is similar to an open wound, treat it as such.
For the first three days , wash your new tattooed area every hour, for 10 minutes with a small amount of Dial Liquid Soap and water. Then make sure you dry your tattoo with any CLEAN fabric, i.e. a non-rough surface cloth or paper towel, by patting it down gently until your tattoo is not sticky; make sure it is completely dry before you apply the ointment on your tattoo. After the tattooed area is washed and dried, apply a thin coat of tattoo goo or any ointment that I gave to you, to the entire area, making sure to not over apply because the tattoo needs to “breathe”.
PLEASE monitor the tattoo in between cleaning. If your tattoo becomes dry, rewash it and apply a very thin layer of Tattoo goo or aftercare ointment that I given to you to the entire area as needed. After the first 3 days, please continue to wash your new tattoo area every hour for the next 2 weeks with same process. If you have any aftercare issues please don’t hesitate to contact me, I want to make sure you will be well taken care of! Please follow these aftercare instructions, do not listen to what your friends/family told you. They did NOT tattoo you, I did. Make sure you always wash your hands before you wash or touch your own tattoo! It will peel like a sunburn after a few days.(It is totally normal to see colored flakes of skin shedding) If it does scab in a few areas, this is nothing to worry about, just let them fall off on their own.
A fully healed tattoo will take up around 21 to 180 days and varies person to person. Let your tattoo get completely dry before you apply any product on it. Do not pick, scratch, peel, slap, rub or irritate your tattoo. You can shower, but I recommend short showers, being mindful to not let the water directly hit your tattoo for 2 weeks. No swimming, soaking in the bath, or getting into a hot tub for 3 weeks. You may not expose your tattoo to the sun for at least 3 weeks, after its full healed, you must use sun block. Do not wear abrasive materials, jewelry, or shoes that rub against your tattoo. Do not let anyone touch your tattoo, unless they wash their hands prior. Beware of gym equipment, wash it well before using. Ice your tattoo to reduce swelling. Elevate your tattoo to reduce swelling. Take short showers, this is to avoid longer healing times. If these instructions are followed, your tattoo will heal beautifully and have you “itching” for more ink!
When will my tattoo be healed?
A fully healed tattoo will take around 21 to 180 days, it varies from person to person (it depends on if it is a color or black and grey ink, your skins sensitivity, and other factors) Your skin will be going through 3 stages before it reaches the 4th and final stage when it is fully healed:
Stage 1: The Scabbing 1-10 days
Stage 2: The Flaking 8-21 days
Stage 3: Skin Cocoon 21-180 days
Stage 4: Maintaining Greatness – Daily after 100 percent healed
